Novera, Inc. is in Easton, Maryland and was established to respond to the need in the dairy feed industry for a high quality and versatile bypass protein entirely produced from a variety of vegetable sourced proteins. Tom Haschen and Bob Patterson responded to the challenge and began a lengthy process of research and development that would eventually lead to patents in both the United States and Canada.
The Novera process was developed be two highly experienced and recognized leaders in the dairy feed industry. Both have over thirty years’ experience developing and marketing protein supplements for the dairy feed industry. Tom Haschen founded Papillon Agricultural Company where he served as President and CEO for over thirty years. Papillon first introduced the concept for balancing for 10 essential amino acids in dairy rations and remains the recognized national leader in protein market for dairy rations.
Bob Patterson served at the Director of Nutrition for Shur Gain in Canada for over 20 years and was the Director of Technical Services for Papillon Agricultural Company for 18 years. Over the many years working together, Haschen and Patterson collaborated on a large number of products that were commercialized and are as standard ingredients in dairy rations.
Six years of research resulted new technology that provides the means to produce all vegetable protein products with highly desirable nutritional and economic values for high production dairy animals.
Novera products were developed to meet or exceed guidance provided by some of the top nutritionists and researchers in North America.
Novera Protein uses state of the art equipment specifically designed, engineered and built exclusively for the production of Novera Protein products.
